Hi all. I know Mr How2 pesonally and speak at his courses. Thoroughly recommend the material. There is no one better in the country when it comes to teaching How2 make money out of speccy's and small scale developments. Kerry’s strength is that he is well connected with several quality developers and so he is able to offer sections in good subdivisions below market. That helps to lock your profit in. I bought a section from Kerry for 169K (including house plans) and have on-sold it for 185K. Don't even have to settle on it another one of Kerry’s I'm building. Pre construction valuation $395K. Section 162K full build contract 175K. You do the math, there's a good earn in it!! Dean Letfus Property Investor, Mentor & Educator - Auckland
Great introduction to the hands on “how to” way of actually doing developments. Stephen Kleehammer Hastings
Well done Kerry, tons of practical info! William Watson Property finder and investor – Auckland
I have been to all Kerry’s project management workshops and am now developing in Auckland – it works. JC Bedwell Christchurch
I did one of Kerry's courses last year and I can highly recommend it. I attended a one day course and the information you learned for is well worth the money spent. The day covered various aspects of building to make a profit. If you are thinkng about developing, sub dividing or even building your own home you should have a look at this course. Now I see it is a 2 day workshop which is even better . You will walk away as an investor with several more ways to profit from property. Several Propertytalk investors have attended this training and created equity including Pooomba ( Dean Letfus). The bonus of learning from Kerry is he is not a seminar presenter, he has actually been doing these exact strategies for years himself. Whittaker Hamilton Investor - Auckland

I went to Kerry's 3 hour seminar in Tauranga with a friend and we were so impressed with the concept that we attended his Rotorua seminar a couple of nights later with our wives, and three other couples. Spend $15 and three hours (and socialise afterwards) - it's well worth it 'Richcrooks'
Kerry, your course was second in line for value for money. At your price talking to someone who has your experience in construction, subdivision and earth moving was just awesome. Anyone wanting to learn about the above, go see Kerry and How2. If you are serious about this I highly recommend How 2 Kerry Christian courses who replied earlier. We have been building houses before ourselves but learned a bundle doing Kerry's course. Association goes without saying. Where would one start, here is a list of subjects you need to master:
- Project planning and budgeting
- Project finance (very different to b&h)
- Insurance
- Getting, reading and understanding plans
- Hiring the right contractors
- Project Execution
- Project finished, exit strategies, b&h, sell...
- Break open the champagne.
While I am sure the last one is easy all others need to be carefully thought out and planned so you do not lose your shirt, especially with the new building codes. We find it almost easiest to find a site that suits an existing plan so you do not have to start over with new plans on every site. If the margins are big enough we also build on difficult sites with custom plans, the stakes rise substantially doing this, so does the margin when you get it right. 'Fritz'
